CIM Lessons 208-214 and
Miracles Principle # 31
Miracles Principle # 31: “Miracles should inspire gratitude, not awe. You should thank God for
what you really are. The children of God are holy and the miracle honors their
holiness, which can be hidden but never lost.” The ego teaches that the
holiness of Christ, the holiness of Who we really are, has been lost because of
our “sins.” But all that’s really happened is that we’ve fallen “asleep” and
“covered” our holiness with veils of darkness. We’ve come to believe that the
dream is reality and that Reality is the dream. The truth about us, which is
the fact that we are holy, can be hidden by our egos, but it can never be lost.
The miracle shows us the veil of evil is but a cry for help and for love—a cry
to remember Who and What we really are.
Lessons 208-214 are all review lessons and
so will not be discussed in detail here. The theme of these lessons, again, is
that our reality is not our physical existence.
Assignment: Miracles Principle #32 and
Workbook Lessons 215-221. Continue reading Chapter 15 at your own pace. The
theme of special relationships and sacrifice run through this whole chapter.
Practical Application: Choose one special
relationship to focus on this week. Practice letting go of expectations, roles,
and spoken and unspoken demands with this individual and notice if the
relationship feels different in any way.
